I bought this leaf suit to replace the current one I had. While that one was adequate and I used it for a few years, the NMG suit is a massive improvement.
First off, the suit and all it's "leaves" just look more realistic and, to me, it appears "bulkier", like a ghillie suit, which in my opinion help to break up the telltale human silhouette. That being said, the suit is in no way heavy or restrictive. The other thing that I like is that the jacket and pants both have zippered pockets, which my old suit did not. But he best thing in my opinion are the zippered pant legs that unzip to accommodate a boot, even bulky rubber ones, going through with ease. So jo more taking off your boots to put the pants on. That in it of itself is worth the price to me, with the other things I mentioned being icing on top of the cake.
I killed a gobbler in Eastern NC on my second outing wearing this suit from about 15 yards away. He never saw me, either coming in or when he was departing this mortal plane...so the camo definitely works. The previous week, I had a hake and six hens walk through and hang around the decoys in the same exact spot. They never saw me either as I sat with a large stump behind me.
Use the size chart provided and you should be OK. I am 6 ft, 245 lbs with a 30 inch inseam. Going by the size chart, I got the XXL. I was worried about the pant length, but it works. I have worn this tucked into and untucked with the rubber style boots and untucked with less bulky lace-up, ankle high boots. It works both ways. I am not dragging material underneath my soles. The waist can be cinched down and is elastic.
For the money, functionality, ease of putting on or taking off, this suit is a great buy. Get one...you'll see.
